Welcome to Saturday

Welcome to Saturday where

the rivers once slushed blood

Now they simply looked back

under a doubtful moon

If you drank the waters, you would’ve

seen into the future

And although they no longer hold secrets

of a dark and foreboding nature,

they still shimmer red

under the full moon
